Bullying Awareness and Prevention Week
November 17 - 21 is Bullying Awareness and Prevention Week. We will be talking about Empathy and how to be the best humans we can be on #TeamKind. On Wednesday November 19, 2025, we are encouraging all students to wear anything pink to make a commitment to be aware of bullying, and to demonstrate empathy and kindness to others.
Movie Night - November 27!
November 27 is our first movie night of the school year! This is so exciting!
A flyer with all of the information for this family evening will be coming soon! Food and snacks can be pre-ordered online!
GARDEN GALLERY POINSETTIA GIFT CARD FUNDRAISER! - on now!
Assikinack School Council is selling gift cards for Poinsettias and Greenery/Planters from Bradford Greenhouses Garden Gallery now through November 20th.
What Can I Buy?
Gift Cards for various sizes of poinsettias, planters and tabletop greenery are available to purchase. Pick up your purchased gift cards at Assikinack starting Thursday, November 27 after school (additional dates and times to be confirmed). Then simply visit Garden Gallery and redeem your gift cards for the items you chose at your convenience! Items will be available at Garden Gallery until December 24, or while supplies last. Any unused gift cards do NOT expire and can be used the following year.
How much do they cost?
Prices range from $7 to $33 and every purchase raises money for Assikinack!
Who are they for?
Buy them for your own home, for holiday gifts, hosting gifts, thank-you gifts, or for the office! Ask your friends, family and co-workers to place their orders through you and help boost our fundraiser!
When and how can I buy them?
Gift Cards can be purchased through School Cash Online between November 7th through 20th and/or using paper order forms attached to this email. Cash or cheques can be collected (please ensure cheques are payable to Assikinack Public School) and return your completed order form and funds no later than THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 20th!
